Safeguarding Children
We, in the Diocese of Waterford & Lismore, believe that the role of children and young people in the life of the Church is vital to the life of the diocese as it continues the mission of Jesus. We value and encourage the participation of children and young people in parish liturgies and in pastoral activities that enhance their spiritual, physical, emotional and social development.

We recognise the dignity and rights of all children and young people and are committed to ensuring their safety and well being in a way that promotes their human dignity and integrity as children of God.
