The Eucharistic Congress Bell crossed over Youghal bridge to the Diocese of Waterford & Lismore on Tuesday 27th December. The Bell was walked from Youghal parish from the Diocese of Cloyne to a large crowd gathered at the bridge, from the surrounding parishes of Clashmore & Knockanore. Michael Cullinan and Rev. Paul Draper, from the Church of Ireland. The bell then went to Tallow Carmelite Convent on Wednesday 28th, and from there went to the parish of Aglish for an evening celebration. From there, it went to Newcastle, and then onto Touraneena. The bell arrived to Clonmel on Friday 30th December. After Clonmel, the bell then went to Dungarvan on December 31st, where it was present for new year’s eve. On new year’s day, the bell arrived in the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Waterford. The bell also visited the Church of Ireland cathedral in Waterford city.
